IMO.. this author, JEN WIECZNER, must have a quota of articles to write… in reading the “10 things” it reminds me of discharging a shot gun… if you are far enough from the target.. the shots within in the discharge will “hit” all over the target.. as they spread out with distance.
Are we “good” or “bad” because stores are providing a multiple of convenience services.. even though your insurance will not necessarily reimburse for?
And providing this multitude of services gives us access to a whole array of your health issues… forget our obligation under HIPAA .. makes us a “bad guy”.. and god forbid that as we take on these extra responsibilities and liabilities… that we should be paid more money !
Equating converting Tamiflu caps to a liquid for peds.. to high risk sterile IV compounding.. I wonder how much “flack” that RPH’s would get if we all refused to do the former?
Of course, 2 of the 10 “things” have to do with drug abuse…

Hey Steve, that’s why we have called them the “drive by” media for years…they come by, spray a bunch of BS bullets, and then speed off with no accountability. Imagine a pharmacist dispensing in similar fashion with no accountability or consequences to bad behavior. Ha!
