I first created this blog two years ago.. and it remained stagnant until Sept 2011 when I was appointed as National Public Relation Director of The Pharmacy Alliance (TPA) ( www.thepharmacyalliance.com ).. as such.. things/information started coming my way.. of just how bad things are out there in retail, in particular. For the previous four years I had been temping primarily in LTCP… and being a temp… I only had to worry about being a Pharmacist.. which suited me just fine. I was, for all practical purposes , had no first hand knowledge of what was going in retail.
The more stuff that was sent to me… the more I started reading things about the whole spectrum of healthcare… just reading about Obamacare, could be a full time job 🙁
I implemented a background software that tracked the number of page views last June and July was the first full month of data. As Feb 2013 closes, I find that my daily number of page views are over FOUR TIMES what they were in JULY.. and this is my 538 post.
Apparently what I am posting is of interest to a increasing number of readers… and more and more are making very good comments.. It has been great that I have not had to delete any comments from being too far off topic and/or obscene … IMO.. demonstrates that my readers are a “class act”
If anyone wants to make a guest commentary as a post… even done anonymously .. is welcome… If someone has a area that they would like me to comment on… I will take it under consideration..
This blog is for anyone interested in our healthcare system… either being part of it.. or not… and as long as the number of readers remains the same or grows.. I will continue to try to find topics of interest…
Once again… thanks to all…

Steve, you have my thanks for the GREAT job you are doing with this blog. And, as Kekken just said, it is very refreshing to have a pharmacy blog that is not just another customer bashing.
Your blog has many timely and informative topics. I like the fact it isn’t just an anti-patient rant. Tho we all have had one from time to time. Thank you for pulling all the stories and news together and sharing it with us.
