I wonder if this had been a recording of a Pharmacist/pharmacy staff making racist/bigoted remarks toward a chronic pain pt or a pt suffering from a subjective disease… If it would have received as much media attention ?
Maybe if there was more pts videoing the discrimination that they are having to endure at the Rx counter.. and it gets published out there for the rest of the world to understand what is going on… right under their nose…
Since the black community has been – and continues to be – discriminated against for 150 + yrs and the Civil Rights Act was passed just 51 years ago.. while the Americans with Disability Act was passed just 25 yrs ago.. hopefully it will not take another few decades for those with subjective diseases stops being discriminated against..
I have seen this issue being covered on multiple stations/channels and you know.. I have yet to hear anyone discussing recording this “conversation” without permission of those being videoed and any laws being broken
