   I agree with both commentors. Marijuana is not a miracle drug. It’s not going to get her out of that chair. In fact it may keep her there. She will probably gain weight because that’s what MJ does, causes appetite to increase and causes sleepiness.
   The positive side it may help her PTSD because she’ll get stoned. The truth is MJ does not relieve everyone’s pain. Not really bad pain.

   Don’t mean to be rude but from my experience MJ does not relieve pain or take away withdrawal from the next years. Or slightly less. MJ does not take any place , I truly wish it was true what they say but they lie. And yes “they know what they are doing” no forgiveness for the selfish doctors who all made tons of money from this. Now instead of backing up the desperate pain people they all run scared like little girls and boys. Do no harm is what they swore to and harm is what they are doing. My doctor is angry with many agencies and has stood by me but I don’t want him hurt license or legal issues. I’ve been with him for 20 years and would never do anything to hurt him as he has stood by me medically! He is one of the good guys IMHO. God bless all and don’t compromise. If you can sue. Complain out loud write letters make calls. VOTE

     Painman; I’m totally with you…when the guy (who, granted, was trying to help the woman, kudos for that), got to the part about how her marijuana card was “guaranteed to” get her back on her feet, doing back flips, etc, I screamed out loud (scared the heck outta the dog).

     These MJ zealots are no improvement over the anti-opioid zealots. It’s not a frigging miracle drug. It does not, can not replace opioids. I’m glad it does help some pain people, but I live in one of the main “legal” states, where there’s a pot shop on every corner & they all have hundreds of different formulations, & I spent wayyyyy more money than I should have, and a couple of years, trying various concoctions. Zippo, zero, zilch. Nada pain relief. A couple of products made me feel really awful; made the world spin &/or made me stupid. That’s absolutely it.

     And, by the way, do no harm has left the building. The country.

       Were in agreement completely I wish more of the country was. 2019 looks even tougher for us pain people. Either the US population doesnt care about us or care more about the people being harmed by car-fentanyl ,heroin or Chinese fentanyl. Chronic pain people in general GUARD their meds because it is “life restoring”. I would not give meds away for any reason!!

       I’m lucky my meds were cut but the Doctor after speaking with his lawyer and did further test on me brought me back to my high dose. But I cannot fight Medicare not paying or the police getting involved in my biz! I’ve had 2 visits, so much for my privacy!

       I truly wish all well and wish this would just disappear.
