CVS Pharmacy Director of Public Relations Mike DeAngelis said in a statement the safety and well-being of the customers and employees is the highest priority for the company. “We have security policies and procedures in place at all of our stores and we regularly review them to ensure effectiveness,” DeAngelis said. “We do not comment on the details of our security procedures because we do not want to undermine them.” DeAngelis said they are working with authorities regarding the robberies.
Apparently there is no reason to comment on security procedures.. BECAUSE THE CROOKS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ! and at the rate CVS stores are being held up.. the security procedures ARE NOT ENOUGH !

The security cameras in our store are on the safes not pointed at the areas where a robber might be. Employee safety my ass.
Employees in corporate retail are ‘red shirts’ for those who remember the old star trek series
Donni.. it goes CII on Monday, been reading a lot of places being shorted by wholesalers ‘so there is enough supply and there will be price changes (increaces) when it flips and the bottles have to have the new CII markings” whatever…you name it the wholesalers are saying it.
Today was my day to refill my scrips, so I called my local CVS, and the technician tells me they’re all out of Norco 10/325 and dont know when they’ll be getting more. Are you kidding me? I’ve been getting the same scrips for 5 years, every month and I’ve never experienced that. I guess they dont want our business.
This store is just a few miles from my home and has been robbed 5 times in just the last few months. These stores have no panic alarms and are staffed with one front store person and a RPh. The other 24 hour location is staffed the same way on most nights with a 70 something shift and the RPh. Another chain store sits directly across the street and has experienced a few robberies as well. It’s my understanding that chain is now better staffed.
I know PA is.a conceal/carry state, one of my sons lives out there and does. If they won’t let them carry, maybe they’d let them bring in a VERY BIG DOG and park him behind the counter…..”Ummmm he’s my service dog, keeps me from losing my life in a robbery” it reads insanity on their security procedures
