This showed up in another email… this was obviously from the second largest chain store… You can’t make this stuff up…
I love the statement…” Our improved efficiency in WeCare will certainly provide us with a much leaner workflow model, to better focus on SERVICE !
I may be wrong.. but.. is what could be your busiest part of the year.. the appropriate time to introduce new software and cut man hours?
I wonder what their definition of SERVICE is ?.. and how do you improve service while cutting staffing hours ?
I guess that depends on what your definition of SERVICE is….
I have heard of “just in time” inventory… but.. it would seem that this chain is trying to establish “just in time” staffing..
IMO.. talk about your MISSION IMPOSSIBLE !
I feel sorry for the technicians… they have “budgets” too… having their hours varying from week to week or day to day.. so that the corporation can make more money.. IMO.. is no way to create a loyal bunch of employees. Employees have fixed expenses driving to work, baby sitter and/or daycare…
I wonder how many Rxs will be refilled or put on auto-fill to help the Rx dept to make their “plan/budget” for the day/week…
The games that fools play… I just hope that no pts gets harmed/killed in all this jockeying to make the numb-nuts upstairs happy…
