From the article:

Sworn statements made by police to obtain search warrants, which would include what agents are looking for, are sealed until warrants are executed and, sometimes, until investigations are completed.
Trivillian’s Pharmacy and the apartments above it are owned by pharmacist Paula Butterfield, who has operated Trivillian’s for more than 30 years.

Also named in the complaint was Larry Drive-In Pharmacy, in Madison, Medicine Stop, in Uneeda, and Meds 2 Go, Meds to Go Express and Alum Creek Pharmacy, all in Alum Creek.

The lawsuit said the alleged “pill mill” pharmacies turned a blind eye to the prescription drug problem and knew many of the pills they distributed weren’t being used for medical purposes.

Trivillian’s was named in a lawsuit filed last year by Boone County commissioners as one of six “pill mill” pharmacies identified by prosecutors, drug enforcement agents and private investigators. The commissioners later rescinded the lawsuit, citing initiatives already in place to combat the county’s drug problem.

So where did all of these LEGAL PRESCRIPTION come from… the article does not say that they were ILLEGAL/FORGED PRESCRIPTIONS… So according to the article…

prosecutors, drug enforcement agents and private investigators.  DECIDED that all these prescriptions WERE NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY ! Doesn’t mention that any of these people have any MEDICAL TRAINING !

So the lawsuit against this pharmacy was rescinded. But probably way too late to save their reputation they had probably built with patients and the community, for a long time.

So because these people, the prosecutors, drug enforcement agents and private investigators, had legal permission to do what they did, they probably will never ever face any kind of charges for practicing medicine without a medical license, huh?
And they will probably never ever have to even informally, apologize to any of the pharmacy’s/pharmacists, that they tarnished the reputations of in their witch hunt lawsuit, which was later rescinded.

    F’n amazing man.
