I’ve wondered what I would do you if this happened to me, and the same thought occurred to me that this could constitute a hostile work environment.
I’ve also considered what I would do if I were shopping in a store and with an open carry event in progress. I would immediately exit leaving what ever purchases I had intended to make in my wake.
If I were eating in a restaurant, I would leave too and call later to explain why I left, feeling the implied contract of a safe and pleasant dining experience had been breached.
If people feel the need to carry a weapon, my preference is for a concealed one. Ignorance is indeed bliss.
Remember the employees are the ‘red shirts’ (for those who are trekkies)….expendable

I guess this is the new face of big pharmacy. Treat the employees as the enemy. Walgreens has lowered their standards. There is no “human touch ” anymore. All in the name of “healthy and happy “. Shame on Walgreens and CVS.
