Fake OxyContin linked to 6 deaths in Yavapai County, Medical Examiner says

The Drug Enforcement Agency this week issued a notice that pills purported to be OxyContin but containing the more potent drug fentanyl are behind dozens of overdose deaths in Arizona.
The pills are manufactured by Mexican drug trafficking organizations, and sold on the illicit drug market, according to the DEA.
Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine, the agency said.
In Yavapai County, the Office of the Medical Examiner has seen six deaths, believed to be accidental, yet attributable to fentanyl since January 2016.
“There are some deaths … with very high fentanyl toxicology levels and no history of suicidal ideations,” said Mike Sanders, an investigator in the office. “There is an increase in fentanyl intoxication (deaths) here.”
The DEA has yet to investigate counties other than Maricopa for the fake OxyContin pills, spokeswoman Erica Curry said. “We thought it was big enough to go ahead with Maricopa County, and then we’re going to go ahead with some additional analysis later.”
The statistics in Maricopa for 32 cases identified as being attributable to fake OxyContin:
• The average age at death is 35 years, with a range of 16-64 years old;
• The average age at death for females is 37 years and for males it is 34 years;
• 50 percent of the people who died were white, 38 percent Hispanic;
• 75 percent of those who died were men.
“Manufacturing these pills using extremely deadly substances like fentanyl is a reflection of the depravity by which Mexican drug traffickers operate to further their profit margin,” said Doug Coleman, DEA special agent in Arizona. “Mexican (drug makers) are pushing these deadly substances into the illicit drug market to expand their business among the already increasing opioid-addicted population. People are dying across the country and here in Arizona.”

Mallinkrodt doesn’t make a M30 dark blue, theyRe light blue almost white. That’s the first indication of a fake. I’ve seen fake A215s that look real but they are the same size n shape as the M30s,which are fatter than the A215s. Know your pills people
I am sick and more disabled from both the fake “versions” of “oxycodone” and the countless fake ADHD meds. Even the “brand” names are corrupted. They both have similar toxic side-effects; they both contain several versions of ARSENIC. TRIOXIDE, CADMIUM, and other names for the same heavy metal, only synthetic which is more deadly than the natural ones found in apples. “Cephalon” was a pharm Co. bought-out by Teva, and must be another version of ARSENIC because my toxicology report came back high in that as well. Isn’t it unusual that age-old poisons are discreetly put in medications for “some” people whose immune systems are already compromised. Before the “healthcare REFORM” and resulting “shortages” I was a healthier active person who had a purpose and hope for my life; I was ABLE to volunteer and my spiritual path was evolving like at no other time in my life, now I have severe edema, unexplained weight gain, abnormal insomnia, high blood pressure and liver enzymes, night sweats, agitation, un naturally foul smelling urine which leaves a black mold-like ring inside the toilet vessel. No energy at all, except for the most intense TERROR of my life. I am serious when I say I believe myself and others are on a medicare HIT-LIST. Too much has happened, too many people acting suspiciously and the worse part is witnessing my sister, whose been in a state of emergency suffer and is abused and ignored by her new primary whose only concern and mantra is REDUCTION..REDUCTION,….and is refusing to give her-her pain.medication. Isn’t it against the law for a dr to abruptly stop a persons pain medication when they are very sick and in an EMERGENCY situation ? Severe Abuse is part of why I’m on disability. I was about to transition off until the nightmare began with the “healthcare Reform” and resulting government abuses along with fraudulent deadly cancer-causing “medications”. I wished the medical MJ worked for me, but it doesn’t. Compassionate Care is also expensive, and so are Compounding pharmacies. People that work at non-profits and other places one would think may help just say, “I’m Sorry” How many of us have to die in the most horrific way before something Humane and necessary is done ??? The Gov-Pharma knows that the added pain from Cadmium and Arsenic is well documented. It’s beyond comprehension why it’s diverted in the Oxycodones and ADHD meds

I have read that the fake stuff coming from China uses pill machines that during the day, produce real medications and at night, they make the fake. No one can tell those apart. I don’t think any legitimate medication should be coming from anywhere outside the US.
There are many ways to tell if pills like these are fake sadly not many people know what to do or how to tell.
I have came across these fake pills luckily I know when there fake. If you come across any since pharmacies make it hard for us to get our prescriptions legitimately make sure you check 3 things. 1 the color of the pill. In the photo above those are way to dark. Look it up online first to see if it matches what the photo shows usually on webmd or the pill identifier. If they have spots in them white, green or dark blue there fake. If you break them in half and notice they dissolve very fast the minute the pill touches saliva or water. It’s fake. Also if you notice that the pill expands rapidly it’s fake. I hope this helps some of those who sadly have to go to the streets to live a normal life. I don’t however, condone or want to help those abusing this drug by snorting it, shooting it or taking more than prescribed by your doctor. I just hope that maybe my comment can save some lives. And those pills above or not OxyContin there Oxycodone 30mg. If you even think it’s fake don’t touch it! Also one more thing I take all my meds I’m prescribed orally so to tell if a pill is fake break it in half touch it to the tip of your tongue if it burns it def has Oxycodone in it but if it taste potent like something isn’t right spit it out! Or if there’s no potency to it then there’s nothing in it and count on it being 100% fake with some baking soda and who else knows what.
