Has anyone seen the new Walgreen’s commercial.. it is sort of telling of what WAGS expect of their Pharmacist(s). The new commercials shows a RPH being cloned into 5-6 different entities… each RUNNING .. not just walking fast… and performing different tasks at the same time.. I suspect that their original intent was to show all the functions that a RPH does for a patient… but like their previous commercial ..showing a RPH running/jumping across the top of fixtures.
Is WAGS giving the customer/pt another wrong impression and/or expectations of what – and how fast – they should get served?
It may not be the “15 minute guarantee” that Rite Aid tried and was pulled… but.. it is still could be perceived by the general public in the wrong way. When you try to get your message across in a 30 second commercial … how easy is it for it to end up being off-message or misunderstood… Which could make the cost to undo this mis-perception very costly… especially dealing with unhappy pts/customers because of their perception of anticipate level/speed of service from such commercials…
