How Safe is Your Hospital?

For Hospitals
More than 2,600 general hospitals are issued a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade twice per year. The Safety Grade uses national publicly available data from a variety of sources. However, because of inadequate data, we are unable to assign a grade to certain hospitals, such as critical access hospitals, specialty hospitals, children’s hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, etc.
Hospitals with questions about the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade should contact the Safety Grade Help Desk.
If your hospital would like to issue a press release announcing your Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, please contact us for a template release that you can customize to your hospital. For information on licensing your Safety Grade for marketing purposes, please visit www.hospitalsafetyscorelicensure.org

One of my doctors that matter to me states we have to stay out and away from the hospital because it is not a safe place to be.
We pay them so much money and you have to tell them to wash your hands. I spent a month in the hospital with a ripped lung. I watched them. Some coming to my room with gloves on you know they are wearing them from the previous room only to pertect them. I made them wash hands in front of me and if the wore gloves put new ones on in front of me. Some of the new doctors didn’t much like it neither did nurses. I did not care because one more thing that that may have happen to me was a death sentence . My doctor said good job. I had them write on my board WASH HANDS.
They really don’t care . How long have we known that it spreads disease when you don’t wash your hands.we pay them how much money.
Even your own or another doctor for any visitTell them wash your hands. Speak up for you self. You are going to be the one laying in pain from some unclean nurse or doctor not washing hands.
