After doing the post on CVS and their failure to properly certify Rx dept staff to perform vaccinations
https://www.pharmaciststeve.com/?p=1751
I started to look at the entire disciplinary database… and here is what I found – these are actions against pharmacies and/or Pharmacists
………. 2012 (to date) 2011
Total no. disciplinary actions 75 131
CVS 23 (30% of total) 31 (22% of total)
Walgreens 5 (6% of total) 7 (5% of total)
Rite Aid 3 (4% of total) 3 ( 2% of total)
While the major chains have all seen a per-cent increase in disciplinary action… Walgreen’s and Rite Aid’s numbers are so small that one-two additional disciplinary actions distorts the per-cent increases.. BUT.. CVS is now 30% of ALL DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS for 2012 to date. Is this BOP just paying more attention to CVS… or now that the BOP allows for anonymous complaints to be filed with the BOP for the “bad behavior” of corporate employers?… Should the rest of the BOP’s follow this procedures to allow anonymous complaints?
The health of the patients we serve and the “health” of our very profession itself … may depend on it…

North Carolina will be the laughing stock of the nation if they did a full investigation! CVS is probably keeping it all under wraps as usual when they break the rules. Is everyone breaking the rules or just CVS?”
I see the answer! This is crazy that CVS is the main culprit!
