This showed up today:
I worked last night with student who is going to pharmacy school starting next month. I wished him good luck, and he replied he was going to needed it since he would have to write dissertation. I asked, “you’re getting a PhD”, and from his reply it seemed to me that he is confusing a PharmD with a PhD. The institution he is attending doesn’t even grant PhDs. This is an accepted student. He doesn’t even know what degree he is borrowing money to obtain.
And this person is heading down the path to become a Pharmacist… BECAUSE ?

Oh dear God! At least when I went to nursing school back in the day of diploma nurses I knew after 33 months of study and State boards I would become an RN!
Lets hope he has a plan B
CVS will hire him!!!
How on earth could this be possible. He certainly hasn’t learned his career choice very well. Are you questioning why he wants to be a pharmacist? Growing up I respect them and was more likely to call the pharmacy than the doctor. Even after 20 years of nursing I saw them as peers and educational in team conference. Now I see liars and subhuman Being willing to throw patients under the bus. I would not recommend nursing any longer either but for different reasons. I apologize because you have taught me about what’s and poor working conditions. Maybe I am too harsh.
