OMG…my mom back in the late 60’s might have gotten life for giving my brother soy formula supplement along with nursing him because he was and still is allergic to cows milk. This is absurd beyond belief. How many WIC babies did I ring up in the pharmacy for Nutramigen and soy based products because they couldnt tolerate regular formula. Nursing is best, but if mom has medical conditions and has to go back on meds which are contrindicated in nursing, formula is a must. I nursed mine, but sometimes had to supplement and some formulas didnt agree with my kids….gee guess I was a bad mom too. Maybe Moochelle has decided now what new mothers must feed their babies since shes already dictated what our kids school lunches must be.
