“The moral test of a government is how it treats those who are at the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the aged; and those who are in the shadow of life, the sick and the needy, and the handicapped.” – Hubert Humphrey

Here’s a link to the Don’t Punish Pain rallies – they all need help, as do we in the state pain advocacy groups. https://www.facebook.com/groups/982163208603921/
Shared in my chronic pain group – one of my members who is from Alaska commented that her state was not on the list – I also notice that Hawaii is not on the list either – overlooked??????
Barbara, we have very few members in our HI and AK groups – we are searching for more but it doesn’t seem many have been tapered or cut from their medications yet? I’m moving back to Hawaii this summer so I’m hoping to find more people over there. Please mention the Alaska Pain Advocacy Group to your friend in your pain group, perhaps she can help drum up some more members and hold a rally?
I will attend @ my state capital building (Jackson, MS).
