Wow. I’ve gone through withdrawal at least 30x over the years over technicalities. How any of you got away with only ” one ” is beyond me. I was always told by my Dr. It is illegal , but it doesn’t stop any of them from putting us through it , over and over again.
It’s not very funny how terrorists in Guatemala bay have more advocates against torture then hard working Americans. Tax paying citizens who need their prescriptions to survive daily life. Now, not only are these patients living with extreme chronic pain, but they also must endure all the withdraw symptoms.
Correct. These medications can cause seizure, strokes and other horrible side effects. Don’t brush it aside by saying “I don’t care” because one day it WILL BE YOU, YOUR FAMILY OR SOMEONE ELSE YOU LOVE.
How can insurance companies insist on prior authorizations causing delays when the prescription is needed today?
This happened to me (not a veteran). I was not able to find the med my doctor prescribed (Opana). If the first pharmacy had told me they were not going to be able to get it when I can them my prescription, I would not have had to wait a week, going into a painful and dangerous withdrawal.
