“The moral test of a government is how it treats those who are at the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the aged; and those who are in the shadow of life, the sick and the needy, and the handicapped.” – Hubert Humphrey

I finally was able to post my comment to these proposals on Feb. 27, but my comment was not posted until March 1. The Deadline to comment was Feb. 28 (the last day of Feb.). Is it just me or is something fishy going on? I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the Government does NOT want to hear from us period!
The CDC met in secret to craft the 2016 Guidelines for prescribing oipioids, with no input from CPP’S or anyone who had training in pain & pain management!! There was a conflict of interest with Dr. Andrew Kolodny and Jane Ballantyne (the 2 co-authors). Extreme political pressure was put on the CDC to come up with this agenda to stop pain patients from getting their pain meds. There are so many ways the Government have used to accomplish this (DEA suing Dr.s, pharmacists overriding and refusing to fill a Dr.’s script, Insurance companies refusing to pay for them, the DEA telling manufacturers to reduce production 3 years in a row, etc.)
If the Republicans don’t accomplish their agenda to kill us all off (because we will have to commit SUICIDE or turn to illegal drugs which will do the same thing), the next time we have a Democratic President we will have single payer Socialized medicine and the resulting death panels will COMPLETELY eliminate us! God help us all, because no one else will!!!
I have never heard anything so redicoulous. You think there s an OPIOID epidemic the kids will turn to HERION. Taking meds away from chronic pain sufferers you will regret it
Thanks Steve for making these more readable, BUT WHEN YOU TAP ON THE BLUE LINKS TO COMMENT, NOTHING HAPPENS.
I Googled: CMS proposed oipioid prescribing limits for Medicare enrollees. Found some websites, but no links to comment on! If anyone can get through on links to comment, let us know by leaving a reply here! Thanks again.
I can’t get the links to work when I tap them on the initial blog (they are too tiny)! When I tap See Comments, the proposals are big enough to read BUT I CAN ONLY SEE HALF OF THEM AND THE LINKS DON’T SHOW.
I don’t know if Steve can re-post and run them sideways. Is it just my tablet?? I really want to comment!!!
I can’t get the links to work to the petitions. I’ll keep trying or find a way to get to them.
WOW ! These petitions would out right Kill Us ALL.
I can’t believe they would even dream of going this Far.
So many people would die.
