This is what a RPH got back from a state board of pharmacy .. when the RPH requested to address the board on a issue that is affecting/causing med errors and public health and safety. To me.. a lot of words to just tell this RPH.. “…that we have no interest in anything dealing with public health and safety.. GO AWAY ! ..” but I paraphrase !
Why not just set up a webinar broadcast.. wait a minute.. they might not want all that many people actually knowing what they are NOT DOING !.. but that is just a guess on my part…
Although the Board Meetings are open to the public, the audience is not given an opportunity to address the Board during a Board Meeting. If you wish for the Board to consider an amendment to existing regulations, please submit your request in writing for consideration by the Board. Although your suggestions will be considered, the Board does not normally meet with individuals during the meetings.
The Board does periodically hold work sessions during or after some of the Board Meetings to discuss regulations. I have no way to predict when or if the Board will discuss the two sections of the regulations to which you referred in your e-mail. Interested parties are normally welcome to participate in the work sessions but which sections of the regulations are discussed is dependent on the Board Members.
