RIP… Maggie Morgan

Maggie Moore made this video 09/20/2023 and on 09/21/2023 she DIED!  She lived in Washington state and could not find a prescriber to treat her pain… So did she die because of denial of care? Will anyone be held responsible for this otherwise avoidable/premature death?  – Don’t bet the farm on it!!

  1. I sent her video to the US Pain Foundation and they are appalled that we lost another beautiful soul to a broken system. They are keeping her video incase it is needed for their advocacy work. They were so kind when we talked. They offered great support to me.

  2. I remember meeting Maggie in our chronic pain patient group in Washington state, and then meeting her at a couple rallies, I’m heartbroken she is no longer with us. It saddens me that we are forced to take our lives and or deteriorate until death, because were afraid of the religious aspect of committing suicide. Rest in peace Maggie may all your lovely animals especially dogs be running around in heaven with you, I know you love them and your husband so very much

    • So upsetting. She had a broken neck, 3 hospitals missed. Once discovered she had surgery, a fusion. She was treated so horribly post op. She left against medical advice. I want to scream!

  4. I feel so guilty. I saw this video the day she posted it. I watched for awhile but couldn’t finish it. I couldn’t stand to watch her suffer. I didn’t know her or her story but I have eyes, a brain and the ability to see; this lady was suffering.
I should’ve watched the whole thing.
I hope she knows I’m sorry. It was like I symbolically turned my back on her. I just couldn’t stand what I was seeing. As someone who worked directly with patients in a clinical setting…it made me sick for her.
Sadly, this is being done by design. We are the intended collateral damage.
    I’m sorry Maggie.

    • Shasta, it was very hard to watch. Cause of death isn’t known. I believe she deteriorated after her spinal fusion of neck (3 hospitals missed the broken neck per Maggie) Post op she was treated so poorly She left AMA. I’ll never forget her standing on the street filming herself waiting for a cab. 2 hour cab ride after surgery?! My heart hurts for Maggie.

  5. May Maggie be free of all pain now, this is an absolute injustice. Such a beautiful person with a loving soul should not have been forced to suffer like this. I am so heartbroken this world failed you so miserably..

  6. I did not know Maggie Moore but my heart hurts so much for her and what she had to go though. No one should be treated like this and hope her family files a case against the people who let her walk around with a broken neck without treatment. Sadly things are going to get worse with pain medications because of the Gov.

  7. I am not able to find the video/videos. I would like to see them. Are you able to provide a link? This needs to stop! I can’t believe this is happening in the USA!

    • You make this comment on the blog post ..it is on…your computer system my be blocking the video from being displayed on your computer.. it shows on mine ?

      • I was able to find it on my computer. For some reason, it’s not available on my phone. Not sure why, never had this problem before! Thank you for responding!

      • I believe I was a friend of Maggie’s. I know her as Marguerite Martin from San Diego. We met in treatment down here. Can you verify this?
