It would seem that there are NINE RPH’s in South Carolina .. that have engaged an attorney in complaints against our favorite chain/PBM..
All of these RPH’s are in one or two different districts. Rumor has it that 7 of the RPH’s have claims of EEOC – age discrimination and 2 have ADA & EEOC claims..
This kind of reminds me of the single district of this same chain in Alabama where there was two RPH’s that have EEOC claims for age discrimination..
Here is where I blogged about this https://www.pharmaciststeve.com/?p=5151
Apparently one has already been thru a trial and the RPH’s came out with 800,000 and the other is getting ready to go to trial…
Rumor has it.. that this chain is trying to get these 9 RPH’s to settle before the EEOC makes their ruling.. Maybe to get these RPH’s to take some money and sign a non-disclosure agreement and short circuit the EEOC ruling… nothing like trying to take advantage of those who are financially hurting and trying to get them to settle for may be pennies on the dollar.. and/or their attorney ..that is reportedly working on a contingency basis… wants to cut a quick settlement and not incur the expense of going to trial… Maybe a “bird” in the hand is worth more than two in the bush ? Everyone comes out ahead.. except those that suffered the most harm.. Ain’t America’s legal system great ! 🙁
