This was posted on Jim Plagakis’ blog today (02/02/13).. it would seem that there are some person(s) out there that is taking offense from some of the things that JP has said and would seem that they are going to “take things into their own hands”… Maybe they have been watching too much of the CBS TV show VEGAS.
What these BOZO have yet to figure out.. is that JP and I have some very close friends whose siblings work or retired from/for the SECRET SERVICE.. and don’t take kindly to people making terroristic threatening to people.
I feel sorry for these people if they made the calls across state lines.. because that would make it INTER STATE and come under the FBI – which the secret service is part of – and could be easily pulled into/under homeland security… and go into a legal death spiral in the legal system from there. I am no attorney ..I’m just saying…

I agree with Tekken. JP should not play around. Get the police involved. There is no way of knowing whether this is some corporate person or just some nutcase. I expect JP’s blog has ruffled a few corporate ‘feathers’. I can hardly image an executive of one of these chains doing this; but, who knows? There have been some personal attacks on some of these guys at the top of the chains. So, I suppose anything is possible.
The technology that the FBI has today, they can easily find the origin of the phone call. So, for the guy to be making phone calls, he has to be a nut. No one in their right mind would be using a phone, especially a cellphone.
Is someone doing that because of his blog? Or is it an addict who figured out his phone number? He should save the messages and make police reports right away. Don’t play around and try to act tough.
