It is estimated there are some 200+ million Christians in the USA.. and this was a picture of a recent demonstration/protest/rally by Franklin Graham on Saturday, September 26, 2020…. that is around twice the number of estimated chronic pain pts. Of course, this was done in DC and there are a number of (pain) rallies coming up in a week or so… in various states. Does anyone believe that those various rallies will approach a total attendance of abt HALF of the number of participants that this rally accomplished ?
If the figure that keeps being put out there that the USA has some 100 + million people dealing with chronic pain is accurate.. .that would suggest that about 30% of those people in this picture are chronic pain pts. No matter what their reason for showing up to this rally or any other rally, Media, bureaucrats, politicians just looking at the OPTICS of the number of people participating in any rally has a direct relationship to the importance of the issue behind the rally and the number of people who have an opinion or directly affected by the issue(s) behind the reason by the rally.
GLORY! Tens of Thousands of Christians Gather to Pray, Worship in DC
Tens of thousands of Christians are gathering in Washington, D.C. today for a prayer march hosted by Franklin Graham and a worship event called “The Return.”
Vice President Mike Pence delivered opening remarks at the prayer march.
“In these challenging times we do well as you do today to remember that in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving that we are to present our requests to God,” the vice president said. “And we can claim the promise that the Peace of God that passes all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as His grace has through the generations of this nation.”
“We need to be the United States of America, not the divided states of America,” the famed evangelist said before the march.
Graham has been warning Christians about the rise of socialism in America and the threat it poses to people of faith.
“I’m just concerned that the people in this country don’t realize that the left, the socialists, want this country to look like Cuba… like Venezuela,” he said.
Graham said the focus of the march is to pray for the nation and all those in leadership roles, both Republicans and Democrats. The march is set to begin at the Lincoln Memorial an end at the Capitol Building.
“The only hope for this country is God. It’s not Republicans or Democrats,” Graham said. “Only hope is God and if we as Christians don’t pray for God’s help, he may just let this country fail.”
The Return is for all believers from all denominations and backgrounds.
“We’ve witnessed the darkest year. A year in which the world and specifically America has been shaken,” Jonathan Cahn co-chair of the event said in his opening address. “This is not a rally, it’s not a seminar, it’s a sacred assembly. This is an appointed gathering at an appointed place at an appointed time.”
Dozens of prominent Christian leaders and influences will be speaking at the event, including Anne Graham Lotz who kicked things off Saturday morning by telling the crowd it’s time for America to turn it’s eyes toward God.
“I believe our nation is in crisis. Our nation is in a hard place and it’s time to look up and see the Lord,” Lotz said. “The world is being shaken for the purpose of getting us to look up.”

I’m beginning to think that there’s not as many CPP’s as NIH suggested. Out of all the Facebook pain groups it seems it’s the same people in all of them. But there’s also lots of disabled in pain who don’t use the internet or even know how to use it. Many are the elderly. I’m judging this based on my mother in law and her friends who are all in their 70’s & 80’s. They still use landlines and don’t have cell phones. They aren’t even interested in modern technology and they rely on msm for info.
If there are 100 million I wonder where they are.
Couldnt agree with you more on what the impact would be..Problem with the “100 million CPP” is when push comes to shove it seems only 100 of them are around Great example is the “Rallies” and when DRs or law firm need help raising money! When it comes to that, there is a “Santa bag” full of excuses on why they cant rally or cant donate
Personally I think the donations would better suit our cause..People dont like being sued And if we can defend one DR n hold people accountable maybe they will stop going after honest caring Drs
Well they have pain, they are not Decathletes…
the question is;
How did Doctors of Medicine, at least, let thing get so far, let alone participate in it almost whole heartedly…
I mean, …you expect law enforcement and politicians to suck at Medicine, but not Doctors of Medicine.
I’ve been furious at doctors since the whole “guidelines” garbage started; i’m convinced that if MDs & organizations of them had stood up & fought, we (CPPs) wouldn’t be in the situation we’re in. I know, practices are very busy, doctors overworked, yada yada. But they stood around with their thumbs up their noses when the anti-opioid hysteria started, & ever since they’ve been whining & moaning about how dreadful it is to have their license endangered, how their hands are tied, blah blah. So they dump millions of CPPs over the side to drown, and we’re supposed to be sensitive to how hard they’ve got it? I don’t think so. I assume they & their families are covered b/c they know they can get pain meds if THEY need them, but to Hell with us. And that’s exactly where we are: in Hell.
Very Very Well Said
Very well said. I have wondered for years what is up with the “Dr” who seems to have no problem in leaving a patient in pain, and will not even try something.
