This is from a CBS affiliate in Nashville, TN involving another compounding pharmacy…
From the article:
“the New York-based MasterPlarm had continuing problems with quality control, making the release of hormones in patients “wholly unpredictable and potentially dangerous.”
and according to the article… HRC Medical was being run by two brothers… does this sound like another entity currently in the news being run by two brothers-in-laws ???
It would seem like the doppler effect may end up rippling through the whole healthcare community.. now if we can only get the media to pay attention to all the healthcare professionals that are being encouraged/forced to work 12-14 hr days… to the brink of fatigue or past… and how too many patients are being harmed by mistakes caused by this common business practice.
