This is follow up report by Matt Grant WESH Channel 2 in Orlando.. I could not find a link to embed them into the post.. some raw footage with AG Pam Bondi .. and a DEA agent.. what does all of this video footage have in common ?… they all threw Pharmacists under the bus.. NO ONE is telling the Pharmacist to fill/ not fill Rxs.. they are the educated professional.. I suspect that both were lying.. because THEIR LIPS WERE MOVING…
Filed under: General Problems
Bondi: “yay me”
DEA : “who me?”
Pharmacist: “not me”
Patients: “why me?”
Exactly
I didn’t need to watch it to know what the DEA’s answer was going to be… It’s always the same. But I did watch the report.
I’m glad they are doing this for the CPP community, as we desperately need help… But I fear this will be the last of WESH2’s involvement with this issue. I say that because they did not really push hard enough in my opinion and ask these officials the tough questions nor did they ask how to resolve this huge issue… so really, no answer was given at all.
An actual answer with a real solution is what we need help with. We DESERVE THAT. We are HUMANS WHO SUFFER!!!!
We allow for humane medical treatment of DOGS and all animals… But we don’t even have that right as humans when it comes to “taboo” pain treatment. We suffer enough as it is… But now the system is abusing us, causing PTSD symptoms in most CPPatients who endure this abuse. There have been reported suicides recently because the patient was denied or cut off abruptly and decided the pain was too much to bare! That is the definition of torture… Allowing a person to suffer until they die. It’s really happening!!! This is not a small problem that can be swept under he rug. I’m tired of the blame game… It gets us nowhere!
This report did not settle anything besides saying there is a problem. A solution is what we need most.
Now… If pharmacists are lying… Let’s start THERE. Start recording every interaction at pharmacy and catch them in that lie that the DEA director said they use to deny your valid script and sue the pants off the pharmacy and pharmacists for all the mounting ADA VIOLATIONS AND PERJURY. Maybe they will tell us the truth in front of a judge…
When the pharmacists tell us it’s the DEA… When the attorney general says its pharmacies and DEA… We are stuck in the MIDDLE with them pointing fingers at each other
And coming up next on News 6…..the prescription drug abuse problem in America and what pharmacists can do about it!
