I’ve been going to Alma, AR Walgreens for 3-4 years every month same day. Same Doctor, same medications (Pain). I am disabled under SSA guidelines. I have medicare. I am under a Pain Specialist’s care. I go each month
Walgteens Pharmacist Tara refused to fill my on time valid scripts (my doctor prints out the scripts on his letterhead and signs. It has Walgreens pharmacy printed on it as my pharmacy)
I now don’t have my medicine. I don’t know what to do.
What can I do?
Please help me.

Change Pharmacys, boycott Walgreens and CVS. They think there’s a new doctors in town, the leaders of these two hate stores need to be put in prison for crimes against humanity.
Sams club pharmacy has always been great to me through all this BS we must go through. First CVS gave me issues and Walgreens started giving me a hard time so I went to Sams club. You do not have to be a member for the pharmacy.
Each pharmacy is making their own decision on what to fill or not. It’s up to the owner and/or the head pharmacist, not necessarily the chain itself. I had the opposite experience as you. I used the same hometown pharmacy for years for consistent prescriptions that had not changed in many years. After all that time, they suddenly told me they could no longer fill them, saying their new wholesaler wouldn’t allow it. Walgreen’s is actually the one who is filling them now.
Do not use Walgreens for anything. I stopped going there years ago!!
Dump Walgreens they did the same to me some years ago and now go to a supermarket Pharmacy and they treat me like a human. They have a form they fill out and it’s Walgreens only rules. They are under close watch with the DEA and FEDS for selling to many pills right out of a warehouse here in Florida. I was going to them many years longer than you and they dropped me like a hot potato ! I have it in PDF form and don’t know how to post it here asks all stupid questions and they can turn anyone away they want !!!
PS: Hang in there and go to some where they treat you human.
You can contact your doctor about changing your pharmacy. Another Walgreens may or may not fill your prescription. I would recommend changing to an Independent Pharmacy.
