“The DM gave me one more chance to say that I would travel to the store that I think is in a dangerous area of XXXXX. When I said no I was immediately reduced to P/T and told that I would have no benefits after a week. The DM produced customer complaints on my poor service and has a self review that I must complete this week.”
Isn’t it interesting the DM can now produce customer complaints… anyone out there have a 100% “happy customer rate”… I guess that until this became a issue… the DM was maybe working under the premise “can’t make everyone happy”.. The individual complaints were not forwarded, but.. you can just imagine all the complaints a RPH can amass… he/she won’t fill my control Rx early – I had a good excuse !… they wouldn’t call my doctor for the 5th time to get my Rx refilled… they wouldn’t call my doctor outside of office hours… they RAISED my copay…. they wouldn’t bill the insurance for the meds that my doctor ordered… and on and on …

I recently received a email from a female RPH…
I left my job in the XXXXXX area due to the pharmacies being run illegally, including pharmacy techs acting as pharmacists (no registered pharmacist dispensing medication)
Taking a big loss when selling my residence, I moved to XXXXX to work for a BIG BOX pharmacy. Since I started my job, staff has been reduced including replacing techs with clerks. After this week, pharmacist hours are decreased by 10 hours a week. The demands already are dangerous and unnecessary. Being the newest pharmacist, BIG BOX wants to send me an hour away every Wednesday to a “bad neighborhood” in XXXXXXXX . (I was told to not wear nice jewelry there, watch my back when I got the money for pharmacy and have no valuables in my car)
This RPH did not state her age, but from some of the things in her email.. I would suspect that she would fall into the “Senior RPH” category.
So here we have a female Senior Pharmacist, being sent to a known “bad neighborhood”… Can you think of a worse situation… regarding the health/safety of a Senior female employee?
